The third comment on a potato tomato graft shows that you get half the production of each. Perhaps with new advances in tweaking the efficiency of chlorophyll and Rubico something like this idea could actually work better in the future.

For graft tomato on potato gardeners use generaly cherrys tomatos.
With big tomatos is was not a great sucess.
Someone has try to use solanum pimpinelifolium for graft on the  potatos?
