We have records of sweetness for a october month.
Between 6°C 42,8°F and 15°C 59°F the night and between 17°C 62,6°C and 23°C 73,4°F this week.
Nights between 5°C 41°F and 14°C 57,2°F the and days between 13°C 55,4°F and 25°C 77°F the next week.
The squashs try to do a lot of fruits.Surely too late for harvested matures fruits but a good idea for browning.
Our tomatos caught the blight.

Our temperatures are milder than normal too for October.  Running about 5C above normal with highs in the teens 15-18C, lows down to 5C or below, I think it's been colder lows at my site as there's a heavy dew in the morning.  We've been under an "omega block" that is formed by two low pressure systems to the north of us with a high wedged in between and below.  That's giving us many days of sunshine and light winds, clear skies, slow to change.
The "stuck" weather systems seem to be typical of climate change effects.  Whatever you get, it doesn't change for longer time than you would expect.  At least, our weather is usually more changeable.

Frost damaged kousa is continuing to throw a few fruit.  Frost damaged buckwheat is ripening seeds in the field.   One of the tomato plants - indeterminate Skipper - survived a thick white frost that took out the upper canopy on the other plants.  IDK if those tomatoes will ripen and be fit to eat though.
