My Ohio Valley Flint Corn is pledged, I guess, because it contains some genetics from Carol's Cascade Ruby Gold. CCC is just a small contributor but still, it's in there. This year I'm adding Carol's Northern/Southern into my cowpea landrace. It will just be another of a dozen or more in that mix and I don't know how readily they cross but still I guess after this year my cowpea landrace will also be pledged by default.

I saw a kale in a catalogue the other day that I didn't think was new. Generations of selection but a red Russian type StI'll predominated. Red Russian type kale has been volunteering in my garden for about ten years. I don't think it's changed at all.
