Well,
Blue of hungary x tetsukabuto has germinated with sucess. As it will be almost male sterile can it accepted a pollen 3/4 moschata?

Some news of blue of hungary x tetsukabuto
Someone kow if she can received moschata pollen later?

My updates on GTS relative to differences of early growth in the following generation of a series of Tetsukabuto random crosses : https://goingtoseed.discourse.group/t/network-and-potentialization-of-a-squash-selection-loys-studies/3216/44?u=thomaspicard

After nearly 2 months of growth I confirm prior remarks on GTS: there is impressing difference of growth between crosses with Tetsukabuta: some being really small and slow others being big rapidly. Thus that doesn't match up with the size of the fruit in prior generation. It must have to do with the pollen donor, i.e. the other (unknown) parent.
Also: my 3/4 maxima are overall fast and big like maximas whereas my 3/4 moschatas are overall smaller and slightly slower growing like moschatas.

The seeds 3/4 moschata are often a very bad started and take a little of late comparated at the 3/4 maxima seeds.

I have noted for my F1 between violino rugosa x tetsukabuto that the weight was at 2,5kg.
A violino rugosa has a weight between 5 and 8kg.
The genetic of big fruits is problably recessiv for cucurbita moschata.

A stranger year for the squashs.
Drought and wind at the start of the season and too water in july.
The mosts bads varietys of the last year are a sucess and the better varietys of the last year are a miss.

Picture 1: blue kury, a grat miss the last year and a sucess this year.
Some plants dtarted to make appeards their firsts fruits but it seem a little late after september.

Picture 2: (violina x waltham) x (violina x tetsukabuto) F3. In spite of a vigorous grow the fécondation was very late. All the fruits aotofecondated was avorted.
A small fruit is appeard on Blue kury x tetsukabuto but the plant is died 20 days after the fécondation.

Picture 3: a plant or the fruits look lik at tetsukabuto
One fruit has accepted to get fat but it stay small.

I don't understand why all the seeds seem flats in rhe fruit (violina x waltham) x (violina x tetsukabuto) F3. It was yet picked when the plant was died.
I hope that the seeds of the lasts generations are again viables.

The last year was very stranger.
The F3 of (violina x waltham) x (violina x tetsukabuto) giving fruits with flat and steriles seeds and i was lost the most parts of the goods carachteristics of the parents.Nothing plant was synchrinised between male and female flowers.

I will grow this year the F2 and crossed them with some F3.

I note that eaven after 2 and 3 generations the male flowers of interspecific cross are less rich in pollen and more smalls.

Its a great victory for the science, two wonderful fruits are appeards in (violina x waltham) x (violina x Tetsukabuto)F3 by autofecondation. The plant has a length of 7m. Unfortunately we are in october. Can i improvove the speed maturity?

The first frost is at normal time at the end of november.
