I have crossed this summer big orange stripes as female and a orange cherry tomato.
The fruìt was waited 2 months before to started to get fat.
It was stayed very small and not mature.
After our first dangerous frost i was open the fruit and i found one seed who seem viable.

Hi Adrian,
I hope the one seed does well for you.
I have just one seedling coming up from last years snowdrop crosses. AND on closer examination I see that its got minute greenfly on the solitary leaf!!

Indeed, best of luck with the one seed!
I had a cross one year that was so late and not growing, I had to take the cutting from the dying plant and put it in water...  the fruit then grew a little bit and gave me six seeds.  They were viable!

In fall 2024 I had stratified some seed from one of my roses which doesn't always make any seeds.  That pot sat with other things and got watered all this summer without making a single sprout.  Quite late this fall I was cleaning up the garden and discovered two seedlings in the pot, just opening their seed leaves.  I wasn't even sure if they might be weeds but I brought them in the greenhouse and it appears I do have two little roses coming on.  It's always a bit more exciting when they make it difficult!!

Hope you have an excellent year ahead in 2026.
