I've just noticed a bud mutation in my Chinotto (Citrus myrtifolia). Since I'm moving house soon, I was wondering on how best to propagate the short little side shoot. Its almost winter here, but the tree is putting on a little growth spurt with the autumn break.
Should I take a cutting, or try aerial layering? Do I take the parent stock with the emerging shoot, or just the shoot?
Thoughts?
